Clever clever stuff. Special nod goes to The Shining poster as that brown orange 70′s carpet pattern is such a visual feature of the film.

@John: I think you are mistaken. I am not the one who created these posters, but it seems to me that some subtle grunge or concrete textures have been used as overlay. you can find some good tetxtures on my other site http://www.highresolutiontextures.com or at http://www.lostandtaken.com. hope that helps.
